No. It suits beginners and experienced professionals alike — the course starts from terminology and builds to advanced topics, and many graduates came from outside aviation entirely. What you do need is the patience to learn an unfamiliar legal and commercial environment properly, because aircraft transactions involve real money and real liability.
It's entirely self-paced. Most people take about 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the effort and time they put in. There's no cohort to keep up with and no expiry date — you have lifetime access, so you can work through it intensively or fit it around a current job.
